Well, slap me silly.
You are never too old to make a new friend.
From childhood through 35, I had a gaggle of friends.
Power in numbers.
About 10 years ago, I cleaned house.
After all, how many people really care about you?
Convenience, location, location, location, right time, are all integral components of a modern day friendship.
I also cohabit with my best friend and my daughter is my wingman and until recently, my mom was part of that unique, trusted and much adored posse.
But, I succumbed and had lunch with a neighbor.
Surprise, surprise, I really like her.
She is kind, smart and genuine.
So, I bow to skepticism and have opened up my heart to new relationships.
See, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Ahhh. Thank you. I feel blessed to have you in my life and to be an opening to new friendships. We have a lot of fun and deep talks in our future.
