Virus Vices…

We have all most likely reached the point where our homes are clean and closets organized.

Time to enjoy some Corona distractions.

Everyone is talking about Tiger King. Murder, mayhem and mystery abound in this Netflix documentary, surrounding Joe Exotic and his bizarre life as a small exotic zoo owner in Oklahoma.

I binged the series and frankly was revolted by the content. If you are fascinated by car wrecks and love hard to believe oddballs then this show’s for you.

If you fancy Harlan Coben novels, throw yourself into the British mystery series, The Stranger, on Netflix. Season 1 debuted with 8 episodes. A mysterious stranger tells a man a secret that has a devastating impact on his outwardly perfect life.

Downtown Abbey and sports fans will enjoy Netflix’s new historical sports drama, The English Game, written by Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes,

The English Game is a six-part story of how football (or, as Americans call it, soccer) came to be the most-played sport across the world, focusing on the real-life FA Cup Final in 1883.

The charming cast, exemplifying the classic Downton Abbey class clashes, is embellished by beautiful locations and fabulous period wardrobes.

Check out Brene Brown’s, The Call To Courage special on Netflix which delves into her decade long study involving vulnerability, courage, authenticity and shame.

Her message resonates. It is the most watched show on Netflix.

I highly recommend the series Better Things which is in its 4th season on Friday nights on FX. You can catch all episodes on Hulu.

Better Things Is a comedy-drama created by and starring Pamela Adlon who plays a divorced actress  who is raising her three daughters on her own. I love this truly unique show.

I have also been enjoying Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Sunday nights on NBC. Zoey Clark is a gifted computer coder who magically begins to hear people’s innermost wants and desires through pop songs.

Purchase new movie releases on Amazon such as Knives Out and Matthew McConaughey‘s new film, The Gentleman.
