I sprang forward with pure delight yesterday.

Daily Savings Time is a treasure which should be instituted all year round.

Arizona never abandons DST and is one of the only good governmental decisions the state of Arizona has made.

When the weather is inclement and darkness descends at 4:30pm in winter it’s depressing.

Daylight Savings Time brings out the kid in you…we can still play outside until it gets dark.

2/3rds of Americans want to keep Daily Savinhs Time all year round.

Sunday we sprung up and out.  We hit up the local farmers market and bought fruit, veggies and Ahi tuna. The only thing I was not buying was the card table advertising a sign up for the local Republican Party.

Did you know Daylight Savings Time was first used during World War I as part of an effort in the United States and other warring countries to conserve fuel?

In theory, using daylight more efficiently saves fuel and energy because it reduces the nation’s need for artificial light. Recent studies are stating otherwise and there is a movement to eliminate DST, but I am all about following the light.

It’s the little things in life that rev your engine and bring peace and joy into your day.
