Sensational Sushi At Sanyuu West…NYC Restaurant Review…

There is a serene new sushi bar in New York City offering a very reasonable Omakase menu.

Omakase is now the platinum pedigree of sushi dining with Omakase costing literally hundreds of dollars.

Sanyuu West, located in the heart of Chelsea, offers a minimalistic, intimate and calming environment to indulge in a $78, 15-course menu of immaculately crafted fresh, delectable sushi, beginning with an appetizer followed by 12 nigiri, a hand roll and dessert.

There is also a Premium Omakase offered at $125.

The staff is very professional and accommodating. It is run by chef Xianwei Zheng.

They do not have a liquor license yet so you are welcome to bring your own adult beverage with no corkage fee.

Visually dine on some superb, creative sushi:

Lovely dinnerware and a custom hand towel as cleanliness is next to godliness

There are also daily supplemental items offered ranging from $5 to $15, including amazing Japanese Uni (sea urchin), truffles and foie gras to enhance the Wagyu beef course offered on the Premium menu and also as a supplement.

Sanyuu West is a tranquil, satisfyingly delicious dining experience.

Sanyuu West 228 West 18th Street New York. Open Tuesday-Sunday 5-10pm. Reservations on Resy. Please note that starting July 15th, Omakase and premium Omakase will be updated to $85 and $130 respectively.
