It’s baseball season and the Yankees are ready to rumble.

The Bronx Bombers won on Opening Day.

Saturday, my daughter bought tickets to the game against the Orioles.

The family was game time ready, decked out in Yankee blue official apparel.

The seats were perfect as was the weather, but the end result was less than perfect.

The pinstripes fell flat and lost, but the family outing was fun and fabulous.

The day wrapped with wine and salad outside watching the hordes of New Yorkers rushing off to dinner, theatre and the opera at Lincoln Center.

Despite the loss there are 160 more opportunities for the Yankees to win and the day was, in the end, a big hit.
