Parting is such sweet sorrow…

As my husband and I head back to infected Southern California our hearts are heavy.

We had an amazing 6 weeks with our daughter and doggie…so many high notes and hilarious memories.

I am attempting to reconcile the difficult reality as to when we will all be together again.

We will not board an airplane until we are vaccinated and at the rate Warp Speed is proceeding it is going to be a long ass wait.

We are so fortunate to have a groovy family unit and actually delight in one another’s company.

Courtny’s drive home is way longer and more arduous than ours.

Be safe…here’s hoping it is easy and thank you for being such a caring, incredible daughter, friend, outstanding professional and compassionate  human being.

And, channeling your beloved poppie, we love you and Finnley more than tongue can tell.?
