One Leg At A Time…

Personal milestone.

I walked all by myself to Central Park yesterday with the doggie and did not crash and burn.

We then proceeded to stroll, armed with my cane as a defensive weapon because people really do not look.

I encountered some preoccupied daydreamers who crossed right in front of me. Others came straight at me with heads bent and cell phones covering their eyes.

I felt like I was Sexy Dexy, nose tackle (lineman) for the New York Giants, as I was constantly in a defensive mode.

I returned home a bit disheartened as I was tired. I was told to expect fatigue, but I am high energy and it is time to resume regular programming.

I know. It’s only been 5 weeks.

Anyway, I am definitely trending in the right direction.

I have just about remastered self dressing. I still cannot put my left sock on, but I did complete the putting my left leg into my shorts regime.

Baby steps.
