Sunday I let down my guard.

I experienced a new sensation.

I was truly hopeful for the first time in 8 months.

Biden’s win appeared secure and the New York Giants actually won a game and beat the Philadelphia Eagles for the first time in 5 seasons.

Today, I am downtrodden.

Without boring you and crying into my workout leggings I am fed up.

I will keep clawing my way uphill, but it is a struggle.

Silly me, I thought once trump was defeated some elements of life would indicate steps toward a New Normal.

I am mad as hell, but I guess we will all have to continue to muddle through and be confident that a new president, a believer in science and medicine, will put us on track to conquer Covid-19.

As the renowned pop philosopher Miley Cyrus sang?:
