The fat lady has sung.
The New York Yankees ended their playoff season quickly.
One and done.
I was at the AL Wild Card game Tuesday night and the sold-out crowd, try as they might, could not motivate the home team.
It started out so promising on a beautiful fall evening in the Bronx. Perfect post season baseball weather.
The Bombers imploded and just stopped hitting.
Honestly, Dallas Keuchel, the Houston Astros pitcher was very effective, especially on three days rest, but the last month the Yankee bats have been silent.
Masahiro Tanaka, our $155 million supposed ace, surrendered two long home runs. He just did not have it.
The NY Yankees did surpass all expectations this season, but definitely faltered at the end.

Bam…The Yankees were present in the post season and then in a NY minute, they weren’t.
Until we meet again, I bid a disappointed adieu to the 2015 New York Yankees.
