Hatin’ Hospitals…

Observations from spending the week in ICU.

I want to die at home.

ICU nurses and the unit’s care are the best…the Ritz of hospital stays.

Never smoke.

if you get old, age well, eat healthy, exercise and reduce stress.

Have a support system and public advocate.

Seeeing people alone in the hospital is devastating.

Have outside catering.

I found it funny that there is a Dunkin’ Donuts attached to the hospital…isn’t that promoting bad eating habits?!

Be good to the nurses…gourmet baked goods are an asset.

If you want time to stand still, hang in a hospital.

Doctors need personality workshops.

Nurses rock and are your best source of  relatable information.

Wash your hands frequently.

Parking is difficult, leading you to believe that there is massive overcrowding in hospitals or everyone is eating at Dunkin’ Donuts.

Invest in earplugs… excessive amounts of beeping.

Hospital furniture is very uncomfortable unless you are using one of the beds.

At all costs, stay healthy.
