Giddy up, Scarlett…an unexpected fabulous birthday!

The celebration commenced with breakfast in bed and then a 2 hour private trail ride at Sunset Ranch, winding through the curvy, narrow, scenic paths in Griffith Park.

Lunch by KazuNori which satiated my sushi 3 month withdrawal.

My creative daughter sent me a year subscription to Master Class and a monthly flower delivery from UrbanStems.

My Peloton bike is due soon to keep me in fighting Corona shape.

The calls, emails and texts from friends and family added so much to the day.

Veuve Clicquot champagne and a gourmet dinner from Pasjoli including Dover Sole Meunière, sautéed kale, focaccia, market salad with citrus vinaigrette and passion fruit macarons with an added birthday surprise finished off a memorable birthday, especially given the circumstances.

Despite the pandemic, thoughtfulness and creativity can still make for a day filled with fabulosity.
