It was love at first sight.

One look and Courtny was hooked.

Drumroll please…We are soo excited to welcome Finnley B. Lubov-Catzel to the family.

Finn weighs in at 19 lbs. 38 inches long. She has jet black hair and big brown eyes. It was an easy delivery.

Not everyone in the family is thrilled. Our beloved Madison is taking her time getting to know Finn. For the puppy it was an instantaneous attraction, reminiscent of Madison’s reaction to Berkeley eight years ago.

Finn is adjusting to her new home and Courtny has already indulged her in retail therapy…she’s a girl so you have to start young. Ms. Madison Avenue showed her the ropes at To Wag For on trendy Montana Avenue.

Finn has slept through the night all weekend without an accident in her crate.

Courtny and I join hands nightly and sing Kumbaya on the fringes of her padded, toy endowed crate…it does take a village to care for and corral a puppy.

Saturday, Finn was poked and prodded at the vet and declared 3 months and 3 weeks old, smart and super fit. She was docile and chill throughout the exam.

We rewarded her by cruising to Malibu and she snuggled Madison the entire drive.

By Sunday we all felt as if Finn had always been part of the family. She had breakfast and lunch out and even perused the Farmer’s Market.

What pure joy. A canine companion is a must.

But seriously peeps, if you are considering adding a dog or cat to the family, Please head to a shelter and adopt a pet, save a life. It is such a fantastic feeling.
