Doctor My Eyes…

I just had my annual eye exam.

I suffer tremendously from white coat syndrome.

I was apprehensive all week leading up to my exam.

When the doctor asked me how I was, I blurted out, “I hope I am not going blind.”

“Do I have cataracts?”

With laser focus, he talked me down.

Apparently, I scored well on the push the button when you see the light flash by exam and I can still see well enough to ace the one-eyed letter game…AYEZBF.

He reviewed my time honored test scores and presented my final grade.

It turns out that I have the eyes of a 35 year-old.

I can still read the fine print and do not need reading glasses.

I only wish my body was that of a thirty something, but I will take what I can get.

Needless to say, I walked out with a 35 year-old’s swagger.

BAM…

Doctor My Eyes…
