Bev Hills Babes Encore…

Beverly Hills Hotel

The best excursions are with my daughter.

Recently, we lunched at the Beverly Hills Hotel during DineLA week.

You just cannot deny the old world elegance and impeccable service at the pink palace.

To keep things relevant, they have a permanent “Step and Repeat” set up. Shockingly, no one took our photo…they were waiting for the Jenner/Kardashians to exit.

Polo Lounge
Polo Lounge

The Polo Lounge has been the favorite dining spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers.

We dined outside next to Kim and Kylie Jenner.

If that were my 17 year-old daughter I would give her a spanky and send her to bed for inappropriate attire. Take out some of those extensions, reduce the amount of lip filler and probable breast enhancement and please, cover some body parts….leave a little to the imagination.

Back to lunch. We toasted the gloriosity of the day with Whispering Angel which has become our go to afternoon drink thanks to my drinking pal, Sandy.

The special DineLA menu was very inviting.

Courtny ordered the deliciously different tortilla soup with grilled chicken, queso fresco, green onion, avocado and crispy tortilla strips.

Seared Alaskan Halibut

We both selected the main of Alaskan Halibut with braised cabbage, bacon lardon and Lyonnaise potatoes.

The halibut was pan seared to perfection…crispy on the top and the meat was so white it looked like many of the patrons blinding professionally enhanced bright smiles.

I also ordered the divine heirloom tomato caprese salad with burrata, sweet basil and aged balsamic vinegar.

The service was attentive yet non-invasive.

Hanging at the BH Hotel reminded me of all the times I had been there with clients. Loved taking rockers there to witness the shock value effect on much of the straight and conservative hotel constituency.

I miss the bellhop in the cute bell-boy hat running around, announcing telephone calls for the multitude of VIP’s hangin’ at the Bev Hills Hotel.

BAO Foot Spa, Beverly Hills

We departed and left the Polo Lounge absent of anyone who had not had plastic surgery.

The Bev Hills Babes headed to the heart of BH for massages at BAO Foot Spa. I love this place. For $35 you get a divine massage. BAO specializes in foot reflexology & body massage, using the ancient Chinese art of reflexology. If you go Monday-Thursday between 10am-1pm, the same treatment is only $25.

We then proceeded to stroll Beverly Drive with a stop for pod refills at the Nespresso Boutique where every single patron looked like Kardashian clones. It was cappuccino with a side of heavy and constant long dark hair tossing and bass hugging outfits. It must be K Day in BH.

Courtny wanted to peruse the new Sam Edelman store. They had adorable shoes, apparel and accessories and their Circus line is a playful, younger extension of the iconic Sam Edelman brand. Circus by Sam Edelman has great style at amazing prices.

I adored the trio of salespeople at Sam Edelman. They were stylin’ and ready, willing and able to dish the scene with me. Thank you Ralph, Dru and G for the hilarious retail therapy relief. Stop by the store and be entertained and outfitted at accessible prices.

Another rewarding, funtastic Bev Hills Babes excursion…it was like totally awesome.
