A Day Of Perfection…

Sunday was perfection.

The bright, sunny day was spent with my amazing family touring the incredibly appealing Alpilles region of Languedoc.

Every hour of exploration presented a new vintage image.

After a full day and a beyond relaxing massage at the divine hotel we had an 8pm dinner reservation at a lovely Michelin recommended dining establishment just down the tree laden road.

We walked into restaurant bec which enveloped us in inviting, calm surroundings.

We were the only patrons as it was deeply off season and a Sunday night.

We were to be the only guests that evening.

Can you image a restaurant in America keeping the LaCornue flames roaring for one party?

The charming owner spoke English and was a constant source of information.

The chef is beyond creative and gifted.

I must admit seeing Cod and Cabbage on the menu did not get the juices flowing, but was I wrong. What an incredible blend of flavors and ingredients.

The same for every dish that was presented.

The crispy bread and butter was worth the trip and the unique peanut and chocolate dessert was decadently delicious.

The local Merlot wine was a perfect compliment to the outrageous meal.

Savor the compliment of dishes.

Parting gifts.

If you are in the area bec is a must.

To add to the compelling evening, the New York Giants finally won a game.
