Life has been fast and furious of late.
This past weekend the rain slowed me down.
It was a long, wet weekend.
I was in great need of a pedicure. The over 15,000 steps a day for three weeks scrapped the polish right off the toenails.
My devotion to style was revved up, but my feet could not support the desire.
So I vegged and binged and caught up on my TV watching.
Horizontal was the position of the weekend.
You must watch Lessons in Chemistry. I am not a crier. I did succumb. This limited series is magnificent.
The Gilded Age is back. Outstanding Broadway actors glide across the screen in the most elaborate costumes never soiling their trains as they parade through decadent mansions. It is a very entertaining series.
Julia is back and I savored every episode. Sadly, it is one course per week so I hungrily await this week’s offering.
The Morning Show was completed while I was away. It was a compelling season 3. Tune in.
I prepared salads and went minimal after weeks of delectable dining.
Football was palatable as my New York Giants had a bye week so my heart rate did not surge.
I am back clocking the miles. Not sure the weekend rest aptly reinvigorated my tired limbs, but walking the dog and mandatory exercise beckon.
