I wish the weather could stay cool, sunny and dry forever.
Another great weekend in NYC.
Tried a new restaurant in SoHo Friday night and then headed back to the same area Saturday for an amazing facial at Sia’s.
Walked around SoHo and I remembered why I never go downtown on the weekend…so many tourists and Bridge and Tunnel peeps.
I shopped around, but every place was mobbed. Zara was like Grand Central on a holiday weekend.
I felt pangs of jealousy as my daughter texted me reviews of Adele during her final Las Vegas residency dates. I felt like, “Setting Fire To The Rain”😎
Saturday night I went to theatre for the fourth time this week to see A Wonderful World, The Louis Armstrong Musical.
Such a talented cast.
Playing Armstrong, Tony Award-winning actor, James Monroe Inglehart, is incredibly impressive. He won the Tony for his role as Genie in Aladdin. The sets and costumes are outstanding. The second act is much stronger than the first. The music is divine.
I am not recommending the show for every age demographic. If you are a true Broadway musical or a Louis Armstrong fan and appreciate great singing and dancing than definitely check out the show.
Sunday we dodged police cars and emergency vehicles as our ‘hood is a restricted Marathon zone.
Took a walk along the Hudson River pathway with our incredibly lovely, talented friend, Lisa, far from the maddening crowds.
NY Giants lost again…at least they are consistent.
I am afraid my sports mojo has gone the way of trump’s waist and hairline.
Believe me, I would happily forfeit any NY Giants win for a Kamala victory.
Roasted a plethora of vegetables after the Giants were toasted and then binged on football until late into the night.
