I was having a conversation with my daughter and I realized that the sum total of my talking points were the weather and restaurants.
I recall visiting my parents in Florida and mentioning that besides discussing politics with me and their friends, the conversation was all about food, sunshine and humidity levels.
Hello, reality…I have unfortunately joined the club.
I mentioned to my daughter that the Labor Day weekend was gorgeous, clear skies, low humidity and no coastal fog.
I went on to tell her about the three fabulous new restaurants we tried.
Then reality smacked me in the face and I realized it could have been Queen E. telling me about her weekend.
I am not ready for this, but I did enjoy the weather and cuisine, but can’t that apply to any demographic?
Please, do not send me out to pasture just yet.
