Pruned.
Exercised for five hours yesterday and almost every day I have been in the sunshine state.
I have become a water baby.
I glided into a group of Esther Williams water nymphs and we part the blue sea daily to a pop soundtrack.
Prior to splashdown, I swim my 50 laps shortly after sunrise coffee on the patio.
Ran or more appropriately crawled through afternoon errands which took forever. The traffic is daunting after 2pm as the roads are clogged with students escaping their learning pods minus a realistic American history curriculum and the ability to read unfiltered library books.
I stopped by Trader Joe’s where you have to park far from the entrance as Florida seniors play bumper cars in the parking lot.
Being rightfully conditioned to bring recyclable shopping bags to N.Y. and California grocery stores, I was toting my bags in south Florida and handed them over at checkout.

Translation…rewards for the Florida minority who recycle.
I blurted out that Governor DeSantis finds plastic, education and women’s rights all disposal and not conducive to recycling. The young, strapping employee gave me a high five.
Tried a new grocery store that the water nymphs recommended. Fresh Market is a refined food emporium that carries appealing prepared foods and bougie items.
Headed home to contemplate the future and watch the new Apple TV series which one of the mermaids splashed on about during pool time.
Sugar, featuring a highly desirable Colin Farrell, is a keeper. Three episodes are now available.
Enjoy the weekend.
