I am heading to my third Moh’s surgery today.

Hopefully, they are able to remove the squamous cells with one cut.

I know 3 strikes and you’re out, but I feel as if I hit a homer because I have caught these growths before they became more serious melanomas.

I have been diligent about skin checks.

Being proactive when it comes to potential skin cancer is what it’s all about.

I recently went to a specialist for Mole Mapping and am checked every 6 months and sometimes sooner.

I do self body checks all the time.

I am diligent about covering up by wearing long sleeves and pants, wide brimmed hats and sunscreen.

Sadly, no matter how proactive you are in your present day life it is all about the past which can come back to haunt you.

Please check yourself as well as schedule annual skin check ups with your dermatologist.

Shallow, but this is really only skin deep.
