Au Revoir, Paris and our home in France.
Why do all good things have to end.
What a phenomenal sojourn.
I must say I have an extraordinary family…joyful peeps, sharing amazing memories, experiencing unbelievable cuisine, culture, sights, unearthing new places and not one disagreement or cross word.
My desire to return to America is zero.
I have considered keeping my head down and plowing through the next highly unpleasant four years, but that attitude rewards bad behavior and ugly politics.
Anyway, after Biarritz we explored St. Emilion our neighboring hamlet, the Dourdogne and another Paris stay…
In three days we walked over 30 miles in Paris and that is not an exaggeration, exploring the Louvre, shopping on Rue St. Honore, the Left Bank, the Eiffel Tower area, the Troucadero, the Petit Palais, the Palais Royal, the Marais, Montmatre and on and on.
Leaving on a jet plane and hoping it is a smooth, easy flight.
Je t’aime France💜
