Herding The Weekend…

The best way to navigate Manhattan is by foot.

This weekend I clocked about 25 miles.

I probably logged a few miles just watching the nail biting ALCS series between the NY Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians on Friday and Saturday.

Yankees are World Series bound and the NY Giants are headed to the outhouse…boy, do they stink.

We got our Yankees game face on Saturday afternoon by indulging in $3 Happy Hour oysters and libations at Crave Fishbar on the West Side…such a deal.

On Sunday, our lovely friend Lisa and my family perused the public arts elephant installation in the Meatpacking district. The organization is packing up their trunks and heading to Miami tomorrow to coincide with Miami Art Basel.

What a creative exhibit. if you missed it you should be sad.

The Great Elephant Migration is a global fundraising adventure to amplify indigenous knowledge and inspire the human race to share space.

Go to the website and donate to a very worthy cause.

Head’s up…the Starbucks Reserve in the Meatpacking area is unbelievable. Starbucks food is usually atrocious.  The fare here is wonderful and they have an adult beverage bar, sandwich section, pizza kitchen and a very appealing interior

The weather had been amazing. Hope your week is, as well.
