Plane and simple…air travel sucks!
It is as unreliable as Agent Orange’s monologues.
Cancellations are rampant.
Cleanliness is not next to godliness when you fly the unfriendly skies.
Talking unfriendly what has happened to flight attendants?!
They have morphed into manicurists. Instead of limiting dialogue to, “Pick your color” their only conversation is, “Drink? Ice? and Garbage”.
They don’t talk, they are exceedingly unfriendly and they do the minimum and don’t get me started on the stern Gatekeepers from Hell at the departure gate.
Yesterday, the flight attendants demeanor was so negative. One of them had more mileage on her than the 777-200 and she rudely, during a calm segment of the flight, loudly announced to the passengers, “Sit down NOW! The turbulence is going to get very bad.”
How delicate and reassuring. And then during deplaning not even a thanks for flying. Thank you so much for your non-service.
Prices are up. An Economy Plus seat upgrade is now at least a $150 additional charge to the standard airfare.
No refreshments just a minuscule bag of pretzels or some other processed crap.
Customer service has been grounded.
The airline cancelled our flight and made no gesture to help rebook. My parting gift was a 1 hour 19 minute hold time to rebook and a middle seat.
If I could drive to Europe I would and I may just take a road trip next time to California and Florida.
Transportation to and from airports has doubled, lousy scrambled eggs at the terminals are now $20, security loves to perform full body checks on middle-aged white women to declare that they are not guilty of racial profiling. If I get felt up one more time I’m suing TSA for physical harassment.
The airlines continue to make huge profits and the CEO’s earn millions. Take some of the profit and invest in a decent in flight PA system. Yesterday, I had a moment when I thought I was on a NYC subway.
And to add insult to injury, they removed all the TV screens from the plane. Only 7 unheard of movies were offered if you were lucky enough to download the app to your phone.
Eliminated was the travel map so who the hell knew where we were and when we were landing.
The pilot was as communicative as a man watching a sporting event on television.
Let me ask you, Is this any way to run an airline?
The clear answer is no.
This was National Airlines tag line…no surprise they are out of business!
I am declaring myself grounded.
