A 30 minute drive to Michelin Star Espelette in the countryside where the renowned Espelette peppers flourish is an amazing restaurant, Choko Ona.

The food and ambiance are top notch and influenced by the Basque Country a short distance away.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch.  The chef cooks up delicate, subtle, contemporary cuisine, sourcing everything as locally as possible.

We chose the four-course Sheep’s Trail menu for 67Euro.
