Beautiful week in New York City.
I was in bed. Not for fun, but for the flu.
Sunday was the first daybreak.
I passed the disease onto my husband so my daughter and I ventured out on a gorgeous fall day to see the foliage turning golden and shades of red.
He wanted to veg in bed and solitude provides healing meds.
The Palisades Parkway offered amazing vistas.
Of course, destiny rang and we ended up at Woodbury Commons and watched our bank accounts turn from green into red.

Back in Manhattan, we needed to feed our stimulated retail therapy appetites so we stopped in the Lincoln Center area for a fabulous lunch al fresco. Our doggie enjoyed along with us.
My memories as golden as honey in the sun were diminished by 11:35pm last night when the New York Giants yet again stumbled to defeat.
