Wine & Food Bordeaux Style…

Monday in Bordeaux…has a lovely ring to it.

We left home early to make an appearance at the fascinating, Cite du Vin, an interactive wine museum.

The abundance of information is overwhelming.

Loved the renowned chefs discussing their menus coordinated with wine selection. It is a comprehensive, painstaking process.

At the end of your journey you ascend to the 8th floor and indulge in a generous pour of the wine of your choosing enhanced by a 360 view of Bordeaux.

We had a lunch reservation at Prince Noir located in a castle in Lormont outside of Bordeaux.

The Michelin Star Prince Noir is on the grounds of a castle in a glass and concrete cube with a view of the Pont d’Aquitaine suspension bridge.
