You just never know who is going to step up to the plate.
A woman who I met at the pool in Florida made me a part of the daily Mermaid murmurings.
We chat for 1 to 2 hours 5-7 days a week while we walk, bounce, jump and dance in the pool to the oldies emanating from her baby boom box.
This week, Passover was the evening activity on everyone’s mind.
One of the Mermaids asked me what I was up to on the first night of Passover.
It was just me, reclining solo, a shot glass of Manischewitz Concord Grape and a plate of matzoh.
She graciously invited me to dinner.
It was such a thoughtful gesture resulting in a warm, lovely, relaxed meal with kind people and delicious brisket.
One of life’s unexpected sweet surprises.
Why is this night different from all other nights (one of the Passover 4 questions)??
Answer: people can be kind and extend friendship.
Thank you, Nanci?
