Salvation from crappy viewing.
There are so many terrible movies and TV series on network and cable TV.
Wish we could take the money used to produce these monstrosities and feed and education American children, rescue animals or improve healthcare.
Rich fantasies, but there is an amazing four-part miniseries on Netflix that must be viewed.
Unorthodox is a moving, informative, passionate journey of self-acceptance and resonates during our extensive self-quarantine.
Based on Deborah Feldman’s bestselling memoir, the critically-acclaimed series centers on the story of Esty, a young woman who leaves her sheltered upbringing and arranged marriage in Brooklyn to find freedom in Berlin.
Esty, played by accomplished Israeli actress Shira Haas, gives a compelling, heart wrenching performance.
This is must see TV.
While you are watching whip up some homemade Hummus.
Hummus Recipe
15 oz can Garbanzo Beans
1/4 cup EVOO
2 tablespoons Tahini.
Amazon stocks a fabulous tahini from Israel, Har Bracha.
3 Tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice. Add lemon zest.
Kosher salt and ground pepper to taste.
You can add garlic or parsley. I prefer the hummus without.
Mix in blender or food processor until Garbanzo Beans are puréed and mixture is smooth.
Place hummus in dish, sprinkle with pine nuts and drizzle EVOO on top.
This is such a great snack or cocktail hour treat.
Serve with crackers or veggies.

I loved this show too. And thanks for the recommendation on Tahini. I never can find one I like.
