Huge First World problem.

Why is it so difficult to find a good manicure/pedicure?

There are so many places and yet it is challenging to find a Michelin Star Salon amongst a plethora of McDonald’s.

In south Florida they are all terrible. Last two times I had trump supporter manicurists and I could not make them shut up short of giving them a shot of polish remover and making them chug it.

And when did they become so costly?!

And the up sell.

Callouses are extra. Massage is brief and unenthusiastic.

If you buy the spa pedicure you have a much better experience. They start at $75.

My husband has his metrosexual moment once a month and we go together. The manicurists love him so he always gets the deluxe treatment. Maybe they like manipulating his size 14 feet. I am chopped liver compared to him.

I find it hysterical and straight out of a Seinfeld episode when “the nail ladies” look right at you and start gabbing away and then commence cackling!!
