The Party’s Over…

Ahhh…Paris.

As with New York I am never bored in Paris.

The classic, historic landmarks never cease to thrill. Just like my gorgeous daughter and handsome husband I never get tired of admiring them.

We arrived my bullet train from Bordeaux and quickly checked out Victor Hugo’s sumptuous home in the Place des Voges.

Then we moved on to the Centre Pompidou to see the most spectacular Picasso exhibit.

Saturday was an early morning foray to the L’Orangerie to see the Modigliani and impressionist show.

A deep dive into shopping on Saturday filled the day.

We had some magical dining interludes, taking note of a trip to the Paris countryside to have the most amazing experience at Le Doyenne.

Any trip to Paris during the holidays is not complete without taking in the holiday windows at Printemps and Galleries Lafayette.

It is imperative to take to the roof to see the dazzling flashing lights of the Eiffel Tower.

Monday brought another outstanding restaurant and the Mark Rothko exhibit at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. It also featured a room with a collaboration between Giacometti and Rothko.

Yet another memorable rip with two outstanding traveling companions.
