Recently wandered into a new dining spot in the West Village.
No preconceptions just an attractive spot with welcoming personnel and a delightful outdoor space on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
Located at the quaint corner of Bank and Greenwich Streets in the West Village, The Mary Lane is a seasonal produce based American fare neighborhood restaurant from Chef Mike Price of Blackfoot Hospitality, the team behind local favorites Little Owl, Market Table and The Clam.
It was a perfect time for brunch and The Mary Lane offers an extensive brunch menu.
Deciding was challenging. Our charming server, Sinta, was very helpful.
To easy the pain of choosing, we ordered the drink special featuring 2 for 1 Specialino Spritz for $15.
Fortified, I chose the delectable Angus burger on a seeded bun with crispy bacon with a caramelized onion jam and a secret sauce accompanied by delicious fries ($18).
Since there were three of us we also selected a fabulous Sautéed Hudson Valley Steelhead Trout on a warm Niçoise salad ($26).
The hungry party also consumed an Asparagus, Scallion, Goat Cheese Scramble served with mixed greens dressed in a tasty sherry-shallot vinaigrette along with crispy home fries ($16).
The Mary Lane 99 Bank Street West Village, NYC. Open Monday-Thursday 12 to 3pm and 5-10pm, Friday 12 to 3pm and 5-11pm, Saturday 10am-3:30pm and 5-11pm, Sunday 10am-3:30pm. Happy Hour 3-5pm. Reservations on Resy.
