Another summer and another journey to unearth the best lobster roll in the northeast region.
On a recent Sunday I made my way to Kingston’s Clam located on the water in West Sayville on Long Island.
It was a hot day yet our picnic table, situated by the water, provided a delicious breeze along with a beautiful view.
There are dockside slips for boats to cruise right in for a wide ranging seafood menu in addition to the classic American fare.
There is an inside covered patio dining area in addition to an indoor bar.
There was no deliberating.
I quickly order the warm Lobster Roll. The toasted hot dog bun was loaded with fresh, delectable lobster meat. I did not bother with the bread component. I just plunked each fabulous morsel with my fingers dunking in warm melted butter and popped the succulent meat right into my mouth.
The crispy Fries were actually outstanding.
My daughter ordered the local sweet, gigantic Steam Clams.
My husband went rogue and selected the tasty fresh Tuna with seaweed and rice.
The service was attentive and friendly and the location perfect on a hot summer day.
The lobster roll was stellar and Kingston’s is worth the visit.
Onward to dissect more lobster rolls.
