It is so hot in New York City that there is nothing you want to do except complain.
I spent $30 each way to get to a doctor’s appointment yesterday because I could not stomach the subway in 96 degree heat.
Well, I arrived and was informed that the doctor had fallen and broken her ankle so a total exercise in futility.
My husband returned after almost two weeks away so that made the day hotter…love my Catskills humor?!
I could not believe that after a 6 hour flight he ran to Bed, Bath and Beyond to buy storage boxes because I hung all my pantsuits in his closet while he was away and he couldn’t unpack…is that love or necessity?!
Went to see Between the Lines off Broadway.
It is a charming musical based on a book by Jodi Picoult and her daughter, Samantha Van Leer, about finding a place for yourself in this world.
It is reminiscent of Wicked. It is playing in one of my favorite theaters and the tickets are well priced.
Stay cool and enjoy your weekend.
Between The Lines Tony Kiser Theater 350 West 43rd Street New York. Through October 2, 2022. Running time 2 hours 20 minutes.

Hot humid here ( as is everywhere)…stay cool as you can for I remember how it can get in the city..
So hot. Just took the doggie to the Park and after 30 minutes we had enough!
Sunday is supposed to be 100!
We are not usually here in July and August. Never again, but I wanted to take care of Finnley while Courtny is in Italy.
Take care and be cool which you always are?
So hot, nothing to do but complain…sounds like a great idea for a TV show…let’s call it Seinfeld?
