That’s The Way The Cookie Crumbles…

Not that I am providing anyone who is compassionate, intelligent, socially and politically aware with groundbreaking insight, but things are really screwed up these days.

Panic has hit Amazon.

Masks, travel size wipes and hand sanitizer has sold out.

Oh, there was one travel size hand sanitizer available for $99.99…capitalism is great.

What do we fear more?

Another day of Agent Orange pandemonium or a Coronavirus pandemic?!

My husband and I took to bed early last night not for a night of passion, but for visual and emotional escapism.

500 channels and nothing to watch.

We dove into Honey Boy, the movie written by and starring Shia LaBoeuf. It is a heart wrenching, courageous autobiographical film which is really quite good, but incredibly depressing.

Next binge was The Skeleton Twins starring Kristen Wigg and Bill Hader, twins with problems galore and suicidal tendencies.

It was well done, but disheartening so we were two for two.

So much unpleasantness and no sense of relief.

I surrendered to the darkness and instead brightened my life with positive reinforcement in the guise of a black and white cookie.

I guess gloom and doom is just the way the cookie crumbles lately.

Have a wonderful weekend.
