Are there any Republican women in politics who are sane?
Sarah Palin is at it again, calling for the impeachment of President Obama.
In a column published on Breitbart.com Tuesday, Palin accused the president of “purposeful dereliction of duty,” comparing Obama’s treatment of the United States to that of an abusive spouse.
The analogy is not only stupid, but offensive. Politically incorrect Palin has uttered yet another ludicrous statement.
“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president,” Palin, the former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate, wrote. “His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas.'” And battered wives say, “no mas?!” Is that border speak, Sarah?
Palin also piggybacked on the ridiculous words spewed by Republican Texas Governor, Rick Perry, who suggested that the president has deliberately left the U.S.-Mexico border unsecured.
“Without borders, there is no nation,” Palin contended. “Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept.” Can you say, Obamacare, Sarah?!
On Tuesday, Obama requested $3.7 billion from Congress to address the situation at the border. The funds would improve security at the border in addition to providing care for the children who have come into the Department of Health and Human Services’ custody.
What say yee, Republican women? Shoot the immigrant children when they cross the border, make them part of your household cleaning staff, sell them for profit at a Republican fundraiser?!
Palin, who last year suggested that Obama could be impeached over the debt limit, argued in the Tuesday column that Obama’s “rewarding of lawlessness” had caused “irreparable harm.”
“It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment,” Palin wrote. “The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”
Being a woman, I am so damn tired of “ignorant sluts” mouthing off and derailing woman’s progress in the workplace.
Recently, Michele Bachmann called for more God fearing and religious zealots to be represented in Congress. And here’s a boost for Women’s Rights: “Why should I go and do something like that? But the Lord says, ‘Be submissive wives; you are to be submissive to your husbands.”
So said Rep. Michele Bachmann, recalling in a 2006 speech at a Megachurch in Minneapolis that pursuing tax law wasn’t her choice, but she did so at the urging of her husband because she was certain God was speaking through him.
Then there is Ann Coulter who recently demonized soccer.
I also uncovered another Coulter gem:
“If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women,” according to Ann Coulter.
Finally, allow me to introduce you to one more Republican woman whose intellect is on display. Her name is Joni Ernst and she is running for the Senate in Iowa. Sarah Palin may be in the spotlight this week for calling for Obama’s impeachment, but Ernst called for Obama’s impeachment six months ago, making her the trendsetter.
Ernst complained that the President had “become a dictator” and needed to “face those repercussions…whether that’s removal from office, whether that’s impeachment.” Ernst believes that Obama has spotlighted his dictatorial ways by “overstepping his bounds… when he’s appointing czars… So he has become a dictator…. He is running amok.” Really…does that stream of consciousness or unconsciousness, make any sense?
I propose new legislation. Politicians, both male and female, are limited to uttering 3 ridiculous and false statements quarterly (generous, no?!) After that, they need to perform community service.
If I fail to cancel 3 spin class reservations in a 1 month period, I am penalized, prohibited from signing up for class online for 90 days…politicians and talking heads false and inane declarations are much more egregious.
Their irresponsible rants make an impression on ill-informed, narrow-minded Americans who are incapable of thinking for themselves and believe that Palin, Bachmann, Coulter and Limbaugh speak the truth.
We all say dumb things, but for a politician to say something that is both stupid and ignorant, there have to be repercussions. At the risk of sounding un-American, perhaps it is time to institute an IQ test for politicians.
We only seem to worry about how much money they have to invest in a campaign, their physical appearance and if they have skeletons in the closet (who doesn’t).
As a businesswoman, I always seek to hire people who are smart and possess common sense. As a citizen of the greatest country in the world, at very least we should expect our elected representatives to possess a monicum of common sense…edit thyself.
Where is the staff? I never leave one of my clients unattended in a public forum. Are they out getting a mani-pedi or having high colonics? Maybe the staff is perfectly the art of administering colonics to so they can clean up the political verbal diarrhea.
Regarding Republican women, I can see stupid clearly from my backyard.

Good one Toby! Hope you are enjoying your time in NY and getting some Central Park time in. Best wishes.
Thanks, Cara. So glad you enjoyed. I just returned and hope to see you very soon.
Fabulous!!!! And a special mention the photos!
Thanks. Delighted that it resonated!
Yes, Sarah Palin is an idiot of the first order. She singlehandedly makes me wonder what’s wrong with Alaskans for electing her as governor. Most people over the age of seven know that there are seven continents but Palin thinks Africa is a country. Did I just use the word “think” and “Palin” in the same sentence? Moronic non-male humans like her and Ann Coulter give woman a bad name whether or not they are menopausal.
I just read that 54% of Americans think Palin should put a sock in it. I’m curious about the remaining 46%. What do they think she should put in it?
Don’t make me go there, Annie! I have a plethora of suggestions of what should go into that distorted mouth!! Thanks for your comments.
Exactly true. Is it a coincidence that all these female politicians are Republicans?
For the most part, Republicans are a bunch of ignorant, partisan people. And the Republican women, Palin, Ernst, Coulter and Bachmann, are ruining it for hard working, smart, independent women.
so you insult an honest, competent politician who appreciates being an american to make you feel better about voting for a dishonest, pandering, incompetent liberal (any of many)? the democraps have done their job well
After watching the first two GOP debates I found Carly Fiorina is very competitive and intelligent.
She may become the GOP vice presidential candidate in 2016?
I do agree. Amongst the others, Fiorina did stand out, but check out her record as Hewlett-Packard CEO. It was deplorable and she is not much of a feminist. She joined the band of idiots who want to shut down Planned Parenthood. The issue is all propaganda and the Republicans do not even tell the truth about the true essence of PP. Politics!
