Out of desperation, I was tempted to binge on another football team and then Tommy DeVito, a rookie undrafted quarterback, suddenly moved on up from the practice squad where he was earning a minimum salary of $416,667.

DeVito has won three of his four starts as the NY Giants quarterback, including three straight since Daniel Jones was injured along with Tyrod Taylor, the Giants back up quarterback.

I have been a fan of DeVito’s for a long time having watched him helm the football team at Syracuse University.

He is an adorable, proud Italian. He still lives at home and his mommy makes his bed, does his laundry and keeps him on a steady diet of chicken cutlets…brilliant move.

His teammates love him and fans eat him up.

Giant supporters at long last have something to live for and a lot to talk about.
