Schiaparelli worked in Paris with artists such as Jean Cocteau and Salvatore Dali along with photographers Cecil Beaton and Man Ray who supported her and understood Schiaparelli’s desire to create high fashion. These artists contributed to her creative process.
Most recently, Schiaparelli’s legacy has made a noted resurgence with the hiring in 2019 of American fashion designer, Daniel Roseberry as artistic director of the Maison Schiaparelli.
His bold creations combined with Schiaparelli’s Surrealism influences are redefining Schiaparelli’s identity today.
