So much hatred and violence.

I place much of the blame on Washington.

If a parent teaches his child to hate and resent then the child will follow suit.

In Washington, there is a distinct line drawn in the sand and neither political party will cross over.

The country is very polarized and political discourse is so contentious and blown out of proportion, that it is resulting in acts of violence.

There is no incentive for partisan compromise.

How republicans on Capitol Hill can stand behind such a divisive president is beyond me.

America is no longer the home of the free and the brave.

It is home to despicable grabs for power and money and I blame the Trump movement that advocates an ‘all about me’ attitude.

Agent Orange has stirred the pot and all the crazies have boiled to the top, publicly exposing bigotry, racism and anti-semitism.

Not to make this about me, but I am exhausted from all the daily breaking news, none of it ever positive.

Not to minimize the horrors of combat, but I feel as if I am suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I am not foolish enough to think that this latest act of violence against congressmen practicing on a ballfield in Virginia will spark a debate amongst all the pro-gun representatives.

If Sandy Hook or Gabby Giffords did not motivate, I have little faith that this will mobilize all the NRA supporters and those irresponsibility hiding behind the Second Amendment.

Yesterday, was the first time I ever acknowledged Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan.

Let his call for unity and bipartisanship not be short lived.

Novel idea…let’s do what is best for Americans without partisan motivation.

Hold tight to family and friends and do what you personally can to end the madness.
