What’s old is new again.
With my husband away on business I packed up my pajamas and headed to the west village.
My daughter and I had a two night sleepover with Finnley running back and forth deciding which bed to hijack.
While Courtny worked I hung out, exploring her charming, foodie and designer laden retail therapy ‘hood.
I made dinner the first night, we gabbed, watched TV, shared cappuccinos and omelettes the next morning.
The second night we hit a new, trending French bistro in the neighborhood.
We sauntered home and caught the NY Yankees on Prime, finally earning a definitive win.
Courtny challenged me to braid her hair. I allegedly scarred her follicly, passing the braiding responsibility on to her father during her youth.
I proudly rose to the occasion.
Difficult to believe my kid is old enough to own her own home.
Life flies by so quickly…that’s why you have to grab every moment together!
Sharing time and space is way beyond marvelous.
