Bordeaux was our latest excursion.
Next we wandered over to La Grosse Cloche, built in the 15th century. It has twin conical roofs and is the old belfry for Bordeaux’ town hall.
The Opera House is a major Bordeaux gathering place.
Lunch was at Symbiose by the river (4 Quai des Chartrons).
A bit of shopping at the intimate Louis Vuitton at Place Gambatta which was the home to the guillotine during the French Revolution. Now it is home to luxury stores and cafes. The sleek, efficient Bordeaux tram curves right through the area.
A stroll through the lush Jardin Public and then call it a day.
Bordeaux is home to great food, architectural delights and unique shopping.
