A Republican state lawmaker in Ohio says he won’t wear a mask during the coronavirus pandemic because it covers the face which epitomizes the “likeness of God.”
I wish I had known Nino when I was in school.
These are some top notch creative stories that I could have told my teachers and professors rather then the overused, “My dog ate my homework” or “my grandmother died”…for the 8th time.
Nino Vitale backed up his excuse with a kick ass Facebook posting.
”This is the greatest nation on earth founded on Judeo-Christian Principles. One of those principles is that we are all created in the image and likeness of God. That image is seen the most by our face. I will not wear a mask.”
While I was tempted, I resisted and did not send Nino a friend request.
Nino, a self-appointed disciple of God who clearly believes in spreading the message of love, healing and compassion for his fellow human, also believes that COVID-19 is no different then the flu.
Should be interesting if Nino catches the Coronavirus and needs a ventilator.
Will this godly man reject the ventilator since it will cover his face?
Please, Nino, if the situation arises, reject the ventilator…allow the Angel of Death to pluck you up and send you heaven bound to spread your truth to those who can easily suffer your inane message.
BTW, According to the Ohio Department of Health, more than 19,600 cases of the virus have been confirmed in Ohio alone as of Monday, as well as more than 970 confirmed deaths.

unbelievable that this man and many others think this way!
This corona situation is uncovering their dumbness. They are reopening states and people are not showing up to their stupid grand openings. I hope the GOP and the whole trump circus will evaporate like a bad nightmare soon and this country will be back to its leading position when it comes to democracy, being smart and civil rights (this had been a truly dark page that needs to end soon).
Stupidity blinds the mind . men and women that think of themselves above everyone else are the ones struggling to survive their own misery in private. They already wear a mask.
