New York City was fitted for a bright white coat yesterday.
The city glistened throughout the day.
Slush and camouflaged deep puddles are lurking at sidewalk curbs, readying themselves for today’s unsuspecting pedestrians.
I had a doctor’s appointment on the way, way upper east side and walked the 30 blocks up and almost a mile across Central Park enveloped by the virgin snow and a few ecstatic off leash doggies.
The insulated white world provided an escape from reality during my 7 mile round trip journey.
