We were out to dinner last night.
I was muttering about the Giants loss and not seeing the late football games, in particular, the Dallas Cowboys/Buffalo Bills game.
My daughter whips out her cellphone and puts on the football game as we had purchased the Youtube TV NFL Sunday package.
She hands me her phone and says, “Here! Stop moping around and watch it on the phone!”
I watched for a few minutes and then started hysterically laughing.
The moment mimicked so many parents who take their children out to dinner and they start whining and fidgeting.
The only solution is to give in and hand them a device to watch a movie, show or video.
Oh boy, role reversal…I actually felt young and content as well as satisfied, allowing the adults in the room to converse.
