If Puerto Rico can take down a corrupt, ineffective governor, why can’t mainland America do anything about trump?

I grew up believing that everything was possible if you lived in the good ole U.S. of A.

Another mass shooting on Sunday by a 19 year-old who legally bought an AK-47 style assault rifle and we do nothing.

I know that there are strong, well meaning organizations such as Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Brady Campaign and Everytown for Gun Safety.

I have donated and marched, but nothing changes because our elected government representatives empower the lobbyists by accepting their donations.

We are turning into a limp dick union.

We appear unable to stop a sloppy orange bigot from spreading hatred and fanning the flames of racism, we cannot contain gun sales on any level, we are stalled on slowing down climate destruction, we neglect to feed and protect the children.

What the hell happened?

I marched against the Vietnam war and Americans as a united front helped to bring an end to that unnecessary war.

America is still the greatest nation.

We must reignite the fire in our bellies and take to the streets to stop gun violence and kick that rotten bloated orange and his weak, self-centered ineffective Republican cohorts to the curb.

Remember, the power of the people is stronger than the people in power!!
