I Will Survive?…

Good Morning, America.

I am gutted.

I am in lockdown.

I am glad my husband is away on business because I have entered a nonverbal zone.

I only want to be with my doggie.

People breaking the rules in Central Park are really pissing me off. I was ready to go off on the nannies pushing strollers and taking up the entire sidewalk. Forget the bikers on the sidewalks. I am doing deep breathing and it’s not because of exercising.

The plethora of candidates I donated to, celebrities fighting the good fight, talking heads, Kamala are all saying they know many are bummed, but fight back.

How?

There is no logic associated with the way the American electorate voted.

I am good, but I cannot fix stupid.

Yesterday, I read that the powers that be (Stephen Miller) are already building immigrant camps on the Texas border and yet a majority of Latino men voted for him. Do not get me started with women, those insured through Obamacare and first time voters.

Economic misconceptions…the cold, hard facts regarding food pricing. Prices are set by either retail category managers or pricing analysts according to their category role (competitive, destination, innovation, etc.), market intel, demand elasticity and the corresponding gross margins and sales targets.

Grocery pricing, residential housing and privately owned rentals are not set by the U.S. government.

I cannot believe hatred, lies and fear sell.

I think I’ll go buy a house in the country and hibernate far from the maddening crowds.

Toby, fear, hatred and lies obviously sell. Just perhaps not the way you think.
Highly recommend giving this very rounded group a listen.
    All the best, Anna:)

    • So funny. I have been thinking about you lately. What a gut punch. I will definitely check out that group. Hope all is well!

I think about you more than I let you know!
I hope you do, when ready, give this a listen. I usually take these things for a long walk or drive.
        Much to learn!!! Gah! 💕

    • Not sure I agree with all the Monday morning quarterbacking, but it is the economy, stupid.
      Bari is very succinct.
I feel we were sold out for a gallon of gas and the price of a dozen eggs.
A week later it should be interesting to see voters reaction to the circus cabinet and the revving up of rounding up immigrants.
I can tell you that transgender ad that was on a loop during college football and NFL games was very effective.
Too bad so many democrats are painted with a progressive brush.
      Thank you for the tip.

      • Yes, waaaay too much Monday Morning Quarterbacking. But, I feel the Dems were deaf to how left their messaging had become. Too much of a highjacking for my liking.
My goal – no news, very little newspaper, NO social media. I stepped off of instagram over a year and a half ago. Excellent choice!
        Keep your sanity,
        Cheers,
        Anan:)
