It is still very chilly in New York City, but my home is a warmer place now that my husband’s health has been cemented.
A huge thank you embrace to all the lovely, thoughtful friends who reached out…that is curative medicine that goes down easily.
Friday I woke early, walked the dog, made the bed and readied my husband for the 9am departure.
I dressed, putting on make up and fixing my hair, wearing real clothes rather than workout apparel. I felt it necessary to look my best, insuring that David’s memory of me was me lookin’ good!
He came through it well and I am back in my Lululemons.
He is sore and achy, experiencing a different kind of pain. He was able to go for a stroll this weekend after 17 days of on his back hibernation.
We are less than 90 days into 2025 and we have lived through fire, fractures and fury.
The fires have been extinguished, the fracture has been mended now I am looking forward to handcuffing the fury in America.
My daughter did have some fun after spending all day Friday with me at the hospital.
Her client, Alan Cumming’s birthday party was Friday night, bringing back the gaiety of Studio 54 and adding frivolity to a long day.
March on, 2025, hopefully, into a more positive space.
