Ladies who lunch in Palm Beach.
The tantalizing triumvirate experienced a maaavelous lunch at the very cool Honor Bar located in the pinkies up Royal Poinciana Plaza.
I love the moody, seductive ambiance with cool jazz playing and the attentive, friendly service.
I often sit at the bar nursing an iced cold martini, but this visit was while the sun was high in the sky.
We waited about 25 minutes as it was prime lunch time and Honor Bar does not accept reservations.
I ordered my favorite burger which is challenging to get your mouth around the humongous fresh ground chuck, white cheddar, tomato and spicy slaw sandwich ($22).
Fran and Debbie shared the Shrimp Louie with jumbo Gulf Shrimp, red ripe tomatoes, avocado and an iceberg wedge with a side of Thousand Island dressing ($26).
They also indulged in the Prime Rib sandwich
with jack cheese and creamy horseradish dipping sauce ($29).
We ordered crispy shoestring potatoes for a sharing moment ($7).
For a classic moderately priced lunch or dinner in a delightful setting head to the Honor Bar in Palm Beach.
Honor Bar does not serve dessert, but strolling the Royal Poinciana Plaza’s lush grounds and interesting toney shops is a delicious treat.
