Happy Birthday, Queen E…

Yesterday was my mom’s birthday.

She would have been 99 years young.

She was looking forward to her 100th birthday because she always thought I threw great parties.

I do, but it is lovely to be recognized.

I miss that so much, knowing that someone thinks no matter what I do, it’s fabulous.

I always knew that Queen E. would have my back.

Nothing beats maternal love.

Anyway, since her departure life has been challenging.

Yesterday was a day of honoring her memory.

We had a nice long chat and things seem to be peaceful for her.

She is dancing again, feeling light as a feather, surrounded by a lavender glow.

Long live the Queen in our hearts and mind.
