Happiest Place On Earth…

I am mulling a move.

Contrary to long established marketing slogans, Disneyland, especially during the DeSantis reign of terror, is not the happiest place on earth.

For the sixth year in a row, Finland is the best place to ease on down the road. Afghanistan is the worst, coming in at #137.

The report, which is a publication of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, draws on global survey data from people in more than 150 countries and ranked on happiness based on their average life evaluations over the three preceding years.

The most important considerations are healthy life expectancy, GDP per capita, social support, low corruption, generosity in a community where people look after each other and freedom to make key life decisions.

Caring about others…no wonder the United States dropped down to #15.

Lithuania made the top 20.

I need to check on life there and real estate prices. Instead of considering a move to Finland, I might catch the tailwind, make myself happy in Lithuania and start blogging about my newfound LTU life.

Lithuania has rolling hills, idyllic meadows, mysterious forests, clear lakes and white sand beaches, as well as low crime, excellent healthcare and national sports.

Being happy sounds awfully appealing and English is the most popular foreign language.

Labas (hello), Lithuania. Buh bye New York, Los Angeles, South Florida and France which dropped out of the Top 20.

Wondering if Lithuania has designer shopping…it’s part of the EU so the prices should light up my happiness button.
