Turned on the radio…
Ended up in Savannah, Georgia with a stop in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Today, I will drive through my 10th state of this entertaining road trip.
We set out on Saturday, cruisin’ the eastern seaboard roadway and breezed through 8 hours of singing, laughing and McDonald’s fries.
We visited Duke and UNC at Chapel Hill…both showcasing beautiful campuses.
If it’s Sunday it is Savannah which is an absolute delight.
Savannah, is a coastal Georgia city, known for manicured parks, horse-drawn carriages and antebellum architecture.
The historic district is filled with cobblestoned squares and parks shaded by oak trees covered with Spanish moss.
We strolled the numerous squares and took in the ornate homes.
Lunch on Tybee Island was a real treat.
Today we hit the Highway for 6 hours headed to the Sunshine State.
